SUPERMUD offers lessons in the intimate atmosphere of a working production studio. During the 4-week summer terms in June, July and August--Supermud students receive hands-on instruction with liberal free practice time. Each class is limited to eight students. Supermud offers adult classes in both hand building and wheel throwing. Supermud also offers classes for children.

Adult classes beginners, all level & advanced. Classes cover a wide range of techniques and skills. Basics of hand-building, potter’s wheel, and glazes are explored while allowing advanced students to progress individually. Classes are 2 hours long and include FREE open studio time.

Children classes are for all levels and mixed ages; 5 years and up. The classes are 1 ½ hours long. A wide variety of projects are explored with a strong emphasis on creative development.

Teen classes all levels, mixed ages. Classes are for children ages 13 and up. Many techniques and styles are explored.

Parent & Child Supermud offers both workshops and classes throughout the year. This is a unique opportunity for parents and children to interact in an exciting and creative environment.

Financial Aid Supermud Pottery Studio offers a work exchange program each semester where students can trade work for tuition. These positions allow students to attend a course at reduced costs. Students may apply for these positions during registration.
